VALENCIA, Calif. — Girlfriends Films has set a March 29 release date for Skow Digital's "Truth Be Told," a boy/girl feature built around a dark tale of revenge.
The film stars Marie McCray as a mysterious 18-year-old out to avenge a wrong committed to her older, lesbian lover twenty-years ago by a sadistic Hollywood actor.
Steven St. Croix, winner of the 2013 XBIZ Award for Best Actor — Feature Movie, plays the volatile actor, described by producers as a cross between Bruce Willis and Charlie Sheen.
"I wanted to make a movie that had a lot of sexual energy and tension, and was visually [and] sexually stimulating the entire time," director B. Skow told XBIZ. "I wanted it to tease and arouse the viewer, not just during sex scenes but also between them."
"Truth Be Told" co-stars Jayden Jaymes, Zoey Holloway, Diana Prince, Jessie Rogers, Kurt Lockwood and Tommy Pistol. A trailer for the film can be seen here.
The film marks Skow's third boy/girl feature for Girlfriends Films since signing an exclusive one-year distribution deal with the company in August. Previous collaborations include “Voilà” and "Paint."
