LOS ANGELES — New Sensations has set a March 4 release date for "Cabaret Desire," the second offering from its newly launched Erotic Stories Series.
Written and directed by Erika Lust, the film follows the sexual exploits of European bohemians eager to "explore their most forbidden and secret desires."
"I pledge to create new waves in adult cinema," Lust said. "To show all of the passion, intimacy, love and lust in sex.
"Where the feminine viewpoint is vital; the aesthetic is a pleasure to all of the senses, and those seeking an alternative to porn can find a home."
"Cabaret Desire" presents four tales of eroticism as experienced by a group of young artists living in Barcelona. The film won Movie of the Year at the 2012 Feminist Porn Film Awards.
"[Lust's] ability to create a film that truly embodies the essence of sexuality blew me away," New Sensations founder Scott Taylor said.
"The goal of the 'Erotic Stories Series' is to provide viewers with explicit films that portray the mental and physical aspects of our darkest fantasies in a cinematic way. 'Cabaret Desire' does just that."
"Cabaret Desire" stars international performers Lady Diamond, Mario Mentrup, Liandra Dahl, Matisse, Samia Duarte, Didac Duran, Sofia Prada, Saskia Condal, Toni Fontana, Mistress Basia, Luizo Vega and Cava Cabaret.
The Erotic Stories Series launched earlier this month with the release of Eddie Powell and Jacky St. James' "The Submission of Emma Marx."
