WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. — James Deen, the adult performer who has won new hearts while crossing over to mainstream, wrote about his experiences while filming "The Canyons" in a piece for TheDailyBeast.com.
Deen said in the self-written article that he hasn't yet seen the film because it is still being edited, and that he's patiently waiting for that day.
"My biggest fear is that I did not do a good job," Deen said. "I hope my acting did the film justice. I don’t care if people don’t take me seriously as an actor. I don’t mind being the butt of Paul Schrader’s jokes. I don’t mind being the odd one out at these weird Hollywood parties."
"The Canyons," which stars Lindsay Lohan, will be coming to theaters this summer. IFC Films has announced it has acquired North American distribution rights for the film, a neo-noir thriller directed by Paul Schrader.
"The Canyons" also will also be available online and at a special presentation planned at the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
