SYDNEY — Australian manufacturer Sensuous has signed an agreement with Mumbai-based company Digital E-Life for distribution rights for its range of romance products for India.
“We are very excited and thrilled with this latest development,” said Keith Jones, managing director of Sensuous. “India is very much an emerging market in this sector and although the original home of the Kama Sutra, the country still has a very conservative attitude to sex. However this is slowly changing and tasteful products such as the Sensuous range has a very good chance of early acceptance. We are delighted to be working with Digital E-Life and we look forward to a long and mutually successful relationship.”
Digital E-Life has set up India’s first online adult store. The distributor’s philosophy is to introduce quality products from reputed international and domestic brands, the company says.
“Our approach is to provide the Indian market with the best international products and sell them in an environment that is conducive to buyers,” Digital E-Life CEO Samir Saraiya said. “We believe in the highest standards of quality and we feel that the Sensuous collection will be a great addition to our range.”
Sensuous and Digital E-Life met at eroFame in Hanover last year.
