XBIZ Summit 2013 Miami Dates Announced; Complete Hotel Takeover

MIAMI — XBIZ is pleased to announce "the ultimate playground for business" at an all-new, all-inclusive venue for the XBIZ Summit set for May 14-17 in the heart of South Florida.

The XBIZ Summit this year will move to the stunning Mayfair Hotel & Spa in Coconut Grove, Fla., secluded from the bustle of South Beach but still just minutes from the famed strip. And for the first time in the show’s history, the hotel will be entirely exclusive to the XBIZ Summit, providing attendees with a private hideaway for intimate networking, interactive workshops and  unlimited promotional/branding opportunities.

Fully renovated with modern indulgences and touches of Old World elegance, this artistic oasis blends design concepts from Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America, to provide guests with a relaxing atmosphere in a tropically themed paradise.

“We scouted locations all over Florida for this year’s XBIZ Summit, and after an exhaustive search, we believe we’ve identified the perfect venue for our attendees,” said XBIZ Events Director Moe Helmy. “The Mayfair Hotel offers everything we look for in a show destination. It’s as cozy as it is beautiful, offering spacious indoor and outdoor settings for unlimited opportunities for participating companies.”

The new venue certainly will not be the only thing that is new and improved at this year’s Summit. XBIZ currently is developing a slate of unique networking activities and informational sessions that will propel event productivity for Summit attendees.

“We’ve already begun planning our most comprehensive, opportunity-rich Summit yet,” said Kristen Kaye, executive director of business development for XBIZ. “We are using all our resources to create the most memorable show ever and we invite you all to be a part of it and kick off the summer with us in the grandest fashion.”

XBIZ selected the new hotel both due to its enchanting aesthetic and the privacy it affords guests, while at the same time being conveniently located close to bustling Miami Beach. The hotel sits on the edge of Coconut Grove, a stylish neighborhood known for its open-air cafes, charming tree-lined streets and fantastic shopping. It is situated within close proximity to the shoreline at Biscayne Bay.

With first-rate meeting space, the Mayfair Hotel & Spa offers some of the finest in amenities for guests, including a bubbling Japanese soaking tub on each private balcony. All of the rooms are luxury suites. The hotel also includes a rooftop pool with private cabanas and a stylish poolside bar.

This year XBIZ has some surprises in store for attendees as well, including numerous contests and prize-winning opportunities.

“We’re planning a gamified show experience,” Moe Helmy added.

XBIZ founder and publisher Alec Helmy promised that this year’s XBIZ Summit will be the company’s most lavish to date.

“We take tremendous pride in producing standard-setting events, and we want to raise the bar for this summer tradition,” Helmy said. “We’re not setting out to exceed expectations, our aim is to eclipse them.”

For a limited time, members of XBIZ.net can qualify for free show registration. Attendees are encouraged to book their rooms at the Mayfair Hotel & Spa Hotel early to ensure availability. Room rates start at just $169.
