CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Smash Pictures has tapped Mick Blue to direct for the studio, XBIZ has learned.
Austrian-born Blue, a performer as well as a director, has helmed projects for Elegant Angel and Zero Tolerance. Some of his work at Elegant included “Anal Workout 2,” “DP Fanatics,” “Anal Students,” and “Anal Fanatics.”
Blue’s first film for Smash will be “Planting Seeds, Vol. 3,” for the studio’s cream pie series, according to vice president Stuart Wall.
“I had a chance to hang out with Stuart and Danny Quinn on set and in Vegas and we all bonded. When we went through ideas we decided on a cream pie vaginal and anal shoot since I love asses and that would be a perfect start,” Blue told XBIZ.
He added, “I want to focus on great sex with girls who are passionate about what they’re doing. They have to have energy and connect with the male talent.”
The director is a veteran of the industry who started as talent in 2000. He said he made the transition to directing in 2004.
Blue said it's not yet been determined how many films he'll be directing for Smash.
Casting for the new movie will begin next week with shooting slated to start in February.
