VAN NUYS, Calif. — Vantage Distribution is now shipping DreamZone Entertainment's "MacGyver XXX," a spoof of the beloved '80s action-adventure series.
"We’re very excited to begin shipping 'MacGyver XXX: A DreamZone Parody' out to retail," DreamZone Entertainment Vice President Adam Hasner said.
"Preorders have been very strong, and the feedback from both buyers and reviewers has been extremely positive."
"MacGyver" ran on ABC for seven years and starred Richard Dean Anderson as a secret U.S. government agent who opts to use everyday objects rather than firearms to execute dangerous assignments.
Richie Calhoun plays MacGyver in the parody, which finds him on a mission to rescue both his girlfriend and ex-girlfriend from an evil nemesis, using everyday sex toys and objects.
"MacGyver XXX: A DreamZone Parody" is directed by Van Anderson and co-stars Ella Milano, Jayden Lee, Sabrina Taylor, Sasha Sweet, Earl Slate and James Bartholet. It streets Jan. 29.
