LOS ANGELES — Zero Tolerance Entertainment next month will release "Measure X," described as a tongue-in-cheek comedy about the consequences Measure B will have on the adult film industry.
"Measure X," which wrapped filming on Friday, features an all-star cast that includes Joanna Angel, Jayden James, Adrianna Luna, Bonnie Rotten, Lola Foxx, Capri Cavanni, Madilyn Monroe, Anthony Rosano, Will Powers, Tommy Pistol, Chris Cock and Derek Pierce.
All of the talent in the film worked for free, and all proceeds from the distribution of the film will directly fund the eventual appeal of Measure B, a Los Angeles County law that makes it mandatory for adult actors to wear condoms while shooting adult films. Passage of the law was primarily funded by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
"We're excited to put out this film so we can collect money to fight Measure B," says Domenick Bongiorno, head of production at Zero Tolerance Entertainment. "We'd like to encourage other companies to do the same, to get our voices heard that it's an unconstitutional ruling."
Director Mike Quasar, who wrote the script for "Measure X," said that response to the shoot was amazing in terms of numbers of adult entertainers who wanted to be involved.
"We had an incredible amount of volunteer actors and crew members that donated their time to this production," he said.
"Measure X" completes postproduction today and will be released in early February.
