AUSTRALIA — The Gold Coast Titans, a National Rugby League team based out of Queensland, are in the midst of a scandal as trainer Kortney Olson's pornographic past comes to light.
Olson, a professional bodybuilder and fitness expert married to Titans' chief David May, was named assistant strength-and-conditioning coach for the Titans' under-20 squads, including the under-18 and under-16 sections, in November.
The 31-year-old American also works with Aboriginal children as part of the Titans-for-Tomorrow program. Though the Titans organizations claim Olson is a volunteer, her personal blog identifies her as an official employee.
Olson's pornographic work, a violation of NRL's code-of-conduct rules, includes nude online fetish modeling and lesbian sex videos. Photos can be seen here.
In an interview with a bodybuilding magazine in January, Olson said she "loved beautiful women" and "would still do girl/girl videos if my fiancé didn't mind."
May told Australian news site News Limited Online that he was aware of Olson's porn history and that he stands by his wife.
“Before I met her she had issues with drugs and alcohol," May said. "But I am very proud of Kortney and she has turned her life around.”
