Webcams.com Introduces RSS Feeds

COLOGNE, Germany — Going a step beyond cobranding tools, Webcams.com has introduced RSS feeds for its models. This enables webmasters to create and dynamically update a custom, live-cam site.

“Webmasters can generate an RSS feed URL from our linking code section based on custom parameters such as the niches to display, minimum customer ratings, the models’ join dates and number of models,” Webcams.com’s Dean said. “They then use our exclusive patent-pending feed parser to cause these results to appear on their website in a format they choose.”

RSS technology allows for webcam model listings to be displayed in realtime that enables the webmaster to create a “Who’s Online” page that displays the models availability. Webcams.com features more than 3,000 live models.

“These feeds go a large step beyond traditional cobranding tools that typically allow affiliates to skin a pre-designed site with a minimal amount of custom choices,” Dean said. “Now affiliates will be able to build their own webcam sites on demand.”

All new feeds allow affiliates to create, diversify and maintain sites instantly, with tools to syndicate the feed to any website using a copy-and-paste PHP script.

Webcams.com offers a suite of webmaster tools in addition to the new model RSS feeds, including free hosted galleries, traditional cobranding, the entire library of Webcams.com photos in zip content, blog and gallery RSS feeds.

Commissions start at a minimum of $40 per trial membership or $20 per join.
