NEW YORK — DominicFord.com announced today the launch of its Roku smart TV channel.
The company said the offering allows its website members and non-members to access its content on the Roku streaming media platform by plugging into any TV.
Once connected, the channel features easy-to-navigate screens that let users view the company's most recent movies, search for movies by model name, and view the company's series, such as its popular "So You Think You Can Fuck" series where all three seasons of the show are available on the new channel.
In addition, users can watch content in 2D or two different kinds of 3D, according to the company. Regular TV users can watch the anaglyph 3D format (with a pair and red/cyan glasses), while users with 3D TVs can stream side-by-side versions of the movies for use specifically with 3D TVs.
All movies and videos can be streamed as high as 1080p, and the application will degrade the video to lower resolutions if the user's connection is not fast enough to support 1080p.
Users can also "favorite" movies, which show up in a special "Favorites" section. Members will find their "favorite" videos also showing up on the company's website in a future release of the site.
The channel’s content and application can be explored by users for free on the Roku channel. Roku devices for TVs start at $49.99.
Members of DominicFord.com or SYTYCF.com can link their account to their Roku and stream full movies.
