'Revenge of the Petites' Receives 14 XBIZ Awards Nominations

TARZANA, Calif.  The cast and the crew of “Revenge of the Petites” earned 14 XBIZ Awards nominations.

The 14 nominations, which include Feature Movie of the Year and Director of the Year, reflect the movie’s popularity with critics and consumers.

Receiving a nomination as New Studio of the Year, “Revenge of the Petites” is a coming-of-age comedy from AMKingdom.com.

AMKingdom.com owner Kim Nielsen states, “I am extremely proud of the job everyone associated with ‘Revenge of the Petites’ did. Now we have even more to be thankful this holiday. My sincerest gratitude to the staff at XBIZ.”

Director Harry Sparks adds, “We set out to make a funny, sentimental, and beautiful movie, which happened to also include sex. The nominations from XBIZ show the industry embraced our efforts. I’m deeply humbled for the recognition of our hard work.”

XBIZ Managing Editor Dan Miller named “Revenge of the Petites” an Editor’s Choice. He hails the movie as “a funny and thoughtful homage to American coming-of-age comedies such as ‘Revenge of the Nerds,’ ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High,’ ‘American Pie,’ and even ‘The Graduate.' More than just a sex movie, the film looks great and captures a nice nostalgic vibe that should have viewers digging through their old VHS tapes for a John Hughes fix.”
