SAN FRANCISCO — GameLink today announced the launch of RedHotTweets.com, an advertising platform that allows adult performers to be paid to tweet about movies they star in via the RedHotTweets website and their Twitter accounts.
Adult industry veteran Kelli Roberts is the head of Red Hot Tweets, bringing more than 16 years of her expertise to the GameLink-owned website.
"I've worked with some great companies in my career, but no matter who I’ve worked with, I have always had the performers’ best interests in mind. I’ve long fought to get adult film stars a piece of the retail pie, and that’s now possible with RedHotTweets,” Roberts said.
With the program, which pays via Paxum, performers tweet about the movie, then include a code link that identifies the tweet. Payments are made on the 15th of each month for the previous months earnings, based on a $100 minimum.
Roberts said she understands that many social media-savvy adult stars work hard promoting their projects, and promises that Red Hot Tweets’ user-friendly interface makes signing up, logging in and cashing out a snap.
“Now performers can actually make money for just tweeting about movies they have been in,” Roberts said.
