India has released her debut album today titled “Role Play.”
A solo effort, “Role Play” contains 10 musical tracks and two interludes, and takes the listener through India’s “personal diary” of her life on-screen and off. Her vocals have been featured on the “Walking Tall” soundtrack starring The Rock.
India, a former contract star with Video Team, is self-releasing the album through her label, Black Widow Entertainment. The album, available for purchase on IndiasPlayhouse.com, is described as a “club banger.” Fans can listen to three tracks from the album on India’s MySpace page, MySpace.com/IndiasPlayhouse.
“I named my album ‘Role Play’ because I role-play in my everyday life,” India said. “I have three different personalities — the diva, the bad girl and the ghetto girl. Role playing is a normal thing for me and this album is about me, my life, and the experiences I have had so far.”
India has been involved with music since an early age and was featured on a VH1 program that highlighted adult stars involved in the music industry.
The first 200 fans to purchase India’s album are invited to her record release party on June 28 at Basque in Hollywood. Fans who don’t live in the Los Angeles area will receive a personal phone call from India.
A nationwide tour is planned to support the album that will take India to adult shops, record stores and strip clubs across the country. Tour dates will be announced soon.
