SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Baci Lingerie has announced its support of The Bra Recyclers in its drive to collect 15,000 bras in October and to help raise awareness of Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Month.
“We’re proud to help The Bra Recyclers in Bra Recycling Month,” Baci Lingerie owner Frank Koretsky said. “Baci is honored to donate many styles of our bras and to help raise awareness of women’s causes.”
The Bra Recyclers is a textile recycling company that specializes in recycling and reusing bras that would unnecessarily go to landfills. The bras are sent to a network of Bra Recycling Ambassadors who assist in providing deserving women with used or unused bras as they transition back to self-sufficiency.
Throughout October, women are encouraged to send unused and gently used bras – accompanied by a Bra Recycle Form, which may be downloaded from the website – to the address found on the form. To be eligible for Bra Recycling Month prize drawings, packages must include the Bra Recycle Form and must be postmarked by Oct. 31.
As part of its participation in Bra Recycling Month, Baci donated 100 bras from its lingerie lines to be given to women in need. Additionally, three luxurious bra-and-panty were donated to the charity as giveaways for other donors, inspiring increased awareness.
Koretsky added, “Baci is committed to philanthropic endeavors, tithing to charity whenever possible. If you are involved in a charitable cause for women and would like Baci’s support, please contact us at marketing@bacilingerieusa.com.”
