HILLSBOROUGH, NC — The Sinclair Institute, a leader in the sexual health space, has named Patrick Smith as its new company president.
Smith replaces Peggy Oettinger, who retired earlier this year after serving as president since the Sinclair Institute's launch in 1991.
The Sinclair Institute said in a statement that Smith holds a successful background in consumer products and a "flourished history of B2B successes, working with a majority of the mass-market leaders.
"His specialties include eCommerce strategy and growth, something of great benefit to Sinclair Institute and their two eCommerce sites BetterSex.com and SinclairInstitute.com."
Smith was named president in July and has since gone on to launch a series of successful webinars and to foster relationships with the Sinclair Advisory Council of sex educators, therapists and research specialists.
"I’m committed to growing our position as an authority on sexual health," Smith said. "Since 1991, Sinclair has provided millions of people with an opportunity to better their sex lives.
"Sinclair award winning programs are utilized by sex educators and therapists around the world and I’m thrilled to be a part of these great brands.”
