The Expo will feature more than 50 live acts, including music, erotic performers, exotic dancers and sideshows, as well as theme rooms, interactive displays, sets and backdrops, fantasy halls, BDSM demonstrations and a fetish fashion show that will be put on by The Baroness.
More than 100 adult entertainment companies are slated to exhibit movies, games, websites and novelties. There also will be panel discussions with adult performers, company executives and media on 1st Amendment rights.
Signing at the Teravision booth will be Tera Patrick, Teravision contract girl Yasmin Taylor, Nautica Thorn, Eva Angelina and Vivid contract girl Lacie Heart.
Also slated to appear at press time are Joanna Angel, Taryn Thomas and Adam & Eve contract star Carmen Luvana at the Genesis Magazine booth. Taylor Wane, Brooke Haven, Mercedez, Violet Blue, Vanessa Del Rio, Rebecca Love, Tyler Faith, Sunset Thomas, Julia Ann, Sunny Lane, Flower Tucci, Cousin Stevie and Devyn Devine also are all expected to attend.
Angel, Faith, Thomas and Luvana will talk about the ball on the Radio Chick show Thursday, which can be heard nationwide on 92.3 FREE FM stations. The foursome, along with other adult stars, has planned a brief stop at Satin Dolls to meet and greet fans after their radio interviews. Satin Dolls also is known as the Bada Bing from HBO’s “The Sopranos.”
A number of costume contests are planned, with $10,000 in prize money to be awarded.
The Expo is closed to the public for the first two hours on each day and open to the trade only. It runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 16 and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on June 17. The Exotic Erotic Ball will be held June 17 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
“Since its inception, the Exotic Erotic Ball has always been about freedom and people having fun,” Founder Perry Mann said. “I was proud when we reached our 25th anniversary in 2004, and now I am proud to bring the whole show to New York City — my birthplace and the greatest city in the world.”
For musical entertainment George Clinton of Parliament/Funkadelic will perform, along with Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee, Thomas Dolby and from the Howard Stern Show, Fred Norris and his band, King Norris.
