LOS ANGELES — Wicked Pictures is recognizing Women of Achievement month by saluting the many educators, writers and activists who inspire exceptional conversations about sexuality.
This weekend the company was the exclusive adult sponsor of CatalystCon, a conference devoted to sparking communication in sexuality, activism and acceptance.
Sexual wellness educator jessica drake participated in the panel discussion “Sex Education: Out of the Classroom, into the Streets.”
Wicked maintained visibility throughout the three-day event with jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex and Wicked Passions DVD displays and an informative booth devoted to the Wicked Sensual Care Collection of lubricants and enhancers.
“I cannot express my heartfelt thanks enough to Wicked Pictures and the Wicked Sensual Care Collection for supporting a conference like CatalystCon and helping to make it possible,” organizer Dee Dennis said.
He said the Wicked Sensual Care line was a hit among attendees.
Dennis was also happy with drake’s contribution to the show.
“If I gave awards out at CatalsytCon, jessica drake would win the award as everyone’s favorite attendee. Each person I spoke to told me how much they loved jessica, loved talking to her, enjoyed her participation at the conference, and were really inspired by her passion for creating change. The panel she participated in was a huge hit. My goal was to put together sex educators from different fields and having jessica as a featured speaker was perfect!”
drake was also thrilled with the conference.
“CatalystCon was one of the most mentally stimulating things I've taken part in,” she said.
“To be in alignment with the sex education field as it pertains to the modern world in a safe, non-judgmental environment felt so right. Not only did I get to speak on a fantastic panel, I also got to meet many doctors, therapists and authors - some of whom I'm familiar with through my sex coaching course curriculum.
“Between my series of educational DVDs, our Wicked Passions Line and the amazing Wicked Sensual Care Collection, Wicked provided a perfect blend of sexual wellness and sexual inspiration. I loved being a part of this expo and I can't wait for the next one. I’m very grateful to the Dee Dennis for all of her hard work and to Wicked for their continued support.”
The latest Guide to Wicked Sex release, jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: G-Spot and Female Masturbation, went on sale Sept. 12.
