NEW YORK — The CineKink kinky film festival is bringing its annual tour back to Los Angeles for a two-night stand, Oct. 12-13.
With screenings at the Echo Park Film Center and Studio Servitù, CineKink Los Angeles will offer a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide array of sexual diversity, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit — and everything in between.
The festivities commence on Oct.12, at the Echo Park Film Center at 1200 N. Alvarado St., Los Angeles.
Kicking things off at 7:30 pm, a program of short works, “Kink & Kinship,” celebrates the sense of community that shared kinks tend to engender. And at 9:10 p.m., “Cabaret Desire,” set against a sumptuous Barcelona backdrop, weaves together four erotic tales of intimacy, love, passion and sex.
On Oct.13, the action moves to Studio Servitù at 825 S. Alameda, Los Angeles, for more screenings and a festive celebration.
Beginning at 4 p.m., hijinks ensue in “Sweet Prudence & The Erotic Adventure of Bigfoot,” when the mythical beast is spotted at a remote nudist resort. And at 6 p.m., the documentary “Stage Brother” follows the quest of a young woman to Los Angeles and her dreams of making it in the world of adult entertainment.
The evening continues at 8 p.m. with the “Best of CineKink” that features select, award-winning shorts deemed the year’s best during the festival's latest annual run at CineKink NYC. And at 9:30 p.m., it’s the CineKink AfterGlow Party, a festive celebration that features mixing and mingling, sexy performances and a kinky raffle.
