The lube line, known as Doc’s Cocktails, comes in five flavors — Fuzzy Navel, Mimosa, Cosmopolitan, Sour Apple Martini and Mojito.
The idea was to design a classy, woman-friendly product, Chad Braverman, Doc Johnson’s product design and licensing manager, said.
“I had seen other products out there on the market,” Braverman told XBIZ. “But a lot of them just looked disgusting. I wanted a great product with a really elegant package.”
Designing lubes specifically for oral play meant tailoring the product for discerning taste buds, according to Braverman, who developed the idea by observing the drinking habits of women he socializes with. With product development based on firsthand observation, Braverman is confident that Doc Johnson has a strong product.
“Even in the area of lubricants, Doc Johnson is continually pushing the envelope in terms of creativity and design,” Braverman said. “Because Doc’s Cocktails are the first oral lubricants specifically developed for oral play, we’re confident they will be a huge hit with retailers and consumers alike.”
The lubes, which come in two-ounce bottles, contain no alcohol and do not stain. While couples can use them for intercourse, the lubes are best for oral play, Braverman said.
Doc Johnson plans to market and sell the lubes through its established retail channels.
