Mobile Streaming Solutions Releases VRUSH Live

SAN FRANCISCO — Through VRUSH Live's just released mobile streaming technology, anyone with a compatible cellphone can watch and text chat with live models anywhere in the world.

Mobile Streaming Solutions developed the technology that allows for live streaming video and mobile video-on-demand services.

VRUSH’s network can take content from any webcam and send it to any cellphone other than those on the Verizon network. The technology is supported on 2.5G and 3G Java and Symbian phones, and on most carrier networks.

The application package enables billing and delivery capabilities, allowing for webmasters and WAP portal operators to integrate on its websites, the company said. A third-party billing company handles all payments through the cellphone.

“VRUSH is primarily for mobile users,” Mobile Streaming Solutions’ Jay Borges told XBIZ. “It’s not really meant for Internet users to extend to mobile. Webcam companies came to us looking for a delivery system for their mobile content, and that’s what we’ve developed.”

There is no cost for a website owner to integrate VRUSH on their website. The company operates on a sliding revshare platform depending on its traffic, Borges said.

VRUSH imbeds an ID number in the company-supplied URL for tracking and commissions.

“Companies that own mobile sites are what we’re going after,” Borges said. “VRUSH is geared toward companies that want to go mobile as quickly as possible without setting up a live cam network.”

Upon accessing VRUSH, users are able to watch a 2-3 minute trial, then have the option to sign up for blocks of time, including day and week passes.

“The whole concept of VRUSH Live is to offer a complete product that is available to make mobile site owners money today,” Mobile Streaming Solutions CTO Leo Chin said. “No integration costs, no trying to source content, no trying to develop live mobile streaming solutions. Everything is done and proven.”
