LONDON — Model Danica Thrall admitted to a lesbian pornographic past last week after being evicted from the tenth season of British reality program “Celebrity Big Brother.”
"It was a really difficult time for me and I didn’t have any other options, Thrall told the DailyStar.com. “I really needed money; I was desperate. When you need money instantly you do things you probably shouldn’t. So I can’t regret it because I didn’t have a choice."
While Thrall failed to name the adult channel she had worked for, it was soon discovered to be Babestation TV, the U.K.'s first and extremely popular call-in sex show, broadcasting on the Sky digital network. The channel's programming is softcore, offering just nude breasts and thong-clad bottoms.
“It was a difficult time," Thrall continued. "There was an element of confusion and, although I’ve not really had issues, some things had happened to me back then.”
Thrall is no stranger to controversy. The former beauty queen caused a stir earlier this year when she was one of three women featured in "Sex, Lies and Rinsing Guys," an English Channel 4 documentary about modern-day gold-diggers and their use of social media to score money and gifts from men without ever having to meet them live.
Thrall was voted out of the "Celebrity Big Brother" house on Aug. 31. A female castmate labeled her a prostitute, bringing her to tears on camera.
