BRATISLAVA, Slovakia — Gay studio Bel Ami's upcoming feature "Scandal in the Vatican" includes a cameo guaranteed to blow up Christian skirts: Pope Benedict XVI.
According to Bel Ami founder George Duroy, the Pope was not only duped into blessing "Scandal in the Vatican" star Trevor Yates — masquerading as a Catholic priest — but was filmed during the Vatican meeting for a cameo in the potentially controversial porno.
"You'll see our boys in Rome, playing soccer on St. Peter's square, attending audience with Pope and testing if Vatican reputation as a sin city is well deserved," Duroy wrote on the BelAmiOnline.com forum. "We even have a cameo with Pope himself."
GayStarNews.com reports that Bel Ami lawyers are presently debating if the cameo can be used in the final cut of the hardcore gay feature, which tells the tale of two Catholic clerical students living it up and exploring their sexuality in Vatican City.
"Scandal in the Vatican" is slated for release later this month. Along with Yates, the film costars Jack Harrer, Kevin Warhol, Adam Archuleta and Andre Boleyn.
