MONTREAL – Sex.com is offering a different kind of love in care packages it's providing to Palestinian citizens hammered by a recent ban on Internet porn.
In response to a Hamas crackdown on Internet porn in the Gaza Strip, the company said it is giving any Palestinian over the age of 18 a free emergency package that includes a DVD and an eight GB flash drive of photos and videos.
The ban, that began on Sept. 1, has imposed an “unimaginable” hardship on Palestinian citizens, according to the website.
“Pornographic websites were more visited than social media and news sites in Palestine, meaning that there is a substantial audience that has lost the freedom of sexual expression.
"Sex.com knows that pornography does not jeopardize social fabrics, in fact it contributes to the overall happiness of a society. Adults need to be allowed to indulge in adult entertainment,” the company said.
Having a higher sexual awareness is no reason to suffer, Sex.com noted, and said that its is happy to fulfill any specific requests for content, either of a favorite star, genre, or scenario.
Citizens can receive their porn package by emailing media@sex.com.
“Sex.com encourages not just Palestinians to register for their emergency pornography care-package but any citizen of a nation that has blocked Internet pornography. Sex.com cares only for two things: sex and freedom. Whenever either are in danger or violation, the website is committed to standing up for what is right,” the company said.
