MONTREAL — Live video chat software producer 2much.net has been nominated twice in this year's YNOT Awards.
The nominations are for Software Company of the Year and Adult Innovator of the Year.
"I am happy and thankful to be nominated," said Mark Prince, company owner and founder adding that Tim Henning from ASCAP and Mike from ActuallyHelping "have graciously offered to accept the awards on our behalf if we should be lucky enough to win."
Prince credits the team he works with for the nomination as well as the 2010 award for Best Software Company from XBIZ.
"Obviously, I couldn't do any of this without them," Prince sad. "The entire 2Much staff — Jen Drummond, Mediaguy, Brookelynne, Dragon, DPT Vampire, Xev Delexx and Miel Little, who have been responsible for the success and recognition of 2much.net, are very excited."
Studio manager and social network media marketing specialist for 2much.net Brookelynne Briar said, "I think the one thing more exciting than interacting at tradeshows and meeting the people in this busines, is actually being recognized, acknowledged as a quality contributor to the industry."
2much.net has been nominated yearly since it has ramped up its PR efforts and raised it's public profile.
Payment processor representative Jakub Krawczyk of Segpay has been quoted as saying that LiveCamNetwork was "A first rate platform."
"Although I'm the shy one of the 2much crew and everyone knows it," Prince said. "I crave the excitement and opportunities of tradeshows. We get the chance to actually demonstrate our software to people and companies."
The 2012 YNOTAwards will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25 at Club SaSaZu in Prague.
