Lightspeed owner Steve Jones is the owner of LighspeedCash.com, a solo girl revshare program, in addition to dozens of other adult sites. Jones got his start in the late 1990s with the launch of Lightspeed University and by 2000, the site generated enough income that Jones was able to shut down a consulting business at a software firm.
“We have always believed ASACP's goal of protecting children on the Internet is a noble one,” Jones said. “Lightspeed Media is happy to support that goal with our sponsorship.”
Joan Irvine, executive director for ASACP, lauded the Lightspeed sponsorship as a well-suited match, adding that the company’s professionalism and conscientious business practices make them an ideal ASACP sponsor.
"Having Lightspeed as a Corporate Sponsor is a big plus for ASACP,” Irvine said. “Our sponsors’ contributions make it possible for us to run the online CP reporting hotline, and to continue working with the online adult industry to protect children. This is why Lightspeed wanted to get involved, and we hope more companies will follow their lead.”
LighspeedCash recently launched LightspeedTV.com, which is aimed at the growing video market. Designed to convert teen and lesbian traffic, the site features exclusive video content of well-known Lightspeed girls. The videos are all re-edited and made compatible with popular video formats, including WMV, MOV, MPG, PSP and iPod.
Companies and individuals interested in supporting ASACP can go to Asacp.org to get involved.
