Under the deal, Taylor will appear in eight Vivid features this year. She starts work on her first film under the new contract later this month, but it will not be her first Vivid movie; she also had a role in 2005’s “Auditioning,” directed by Chuck Lords.
“There is something very positive about the adult industry,” Taylor said. “I love the attention that the girls get. The sex is good, so is the money, and you meet really cool people. Being chosen as a Vivid Girl is the ultimate for me and it really hasn’t sunk in yet.”
Taylor got her start in adult nearly two years ago, after a talent agent spotted her working at a Southern California Hooters restaurant. After doing some modeling, she made her first adult movie, 2004’s “Mary Carey Rules 4” from Kick Ass Pictures.
She has made more than 50 movies since, working for DVSX, Elegant Angel, Red Light District, Hustler, Adam & Eve and Digital Sin, among others.
Taylor said she understands and appreciates the opportunities that signing with Vivid will afford her in advancing her career.
“I’m not messed up on drugs and I’m certainly not stupid,” she said. “I absolutely know how important Vivid is in this industry, and I recognize that this is my golden opportunity. I’m a hard worker and intend to give the company 110 percent.”
