ASACP Sets Sights on QWEBEC Expo

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its participation in the upcoming QWEBEC Expo, slated for Aug.10-12, at the Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal.

According to its promoters, QWEBEC Expo is a tradeshow and technical conference serving existing and prospective online adult entertainment professionals.

This annual B2B event acts as an international crossroads for U.S., Canadian and European members of the adult industry, who gather to network and learn about the latest technologies, trends, products and services.

ASACP said it will have a table offering informational materials, and flyers in attendee’s gift bags.

“As always QWEBEC Expo is extremely honored to support ASACP/RTA again this year by giving them as much exposure as we can,” Expo organizer Michael Plante said.

He added, “Tim and his team are doing a tremendous job of tracking those evil CP sites operators, and we’re glad to help. The organization also really helps mainstream audiences understand that the legitimate adult industry community has no links to CP whatsoever and is actually fighting this heinous crime against children.”

ASACP executive director Tim Henning will once again attend the event as part of the association’s commitment to educate businesses around the world about the need to protect children on the Internet, and how association services such as the Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta-label, help enable this valuable endeavor.

“QWEBEC Expo is an important event for ASACP. This gathering brings together a diverse group of adult entertainment industry professionals from around the world, including business owners that may not attend American events due to travel restrictions,” Henning said.

“Reaching this audience is vital to the association’s international outreach efforts,” Henning added, and noted that “ASACP appreciates the generosity of QWEBEC Expo and the other adult industry supporters of its mission to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment.”
