Password By Phone Taps Industry Vet Mike B.

LOS ANGELES — Global phone billing solution PasswordByPhone has hired industry veteran Mike B. to head new product development, strategic marketing and partner base growth. Mike B. brings 10-plus years of adult industry experience to his new position. Mike left CE Cash in February after seven years.

“I already knew how effective PasswordByPhone was at maximizing international revenue,” Mike B. said of his days at CE Cash using the service. “PasswordByPhone is the best global billing solution, but not everyone knows about it yet. I’m going to change that.”

Based in Los Angeles, Mike B. adds to the growing number of PasswordByPhone offices. The company maintains an East Coast presence in Atlanta and operates international offices in Europe and the Carribean.

While the company has worked hard to expand its global billing reach, it understands and values forging relationships with adult companies in Los Angeles — ground zero for the adult industry, said PasswordByPhone’s Marc Jarrett.

“Establishing a presence in Los Angeles is going to be key in solidifying partnerships with major players in the industry,” Mike B. said.

PasswordByPhone’s Manager of Business Development Jarrett echoes Mike’s sentiments.

“For us, it was important to have an industry insider on the ground in the U.S.,” Jarret told XBIZ. “Mike will be focusing on sales, and since the adult industry is in L.A., this is a good opportunity for the company to expand its reach in that marketplace and build long-lasting relationships.”

PasswordByPhone provides billing via phone to 240 countries in 36 languages. The company offers affiliate programs a way to bill its members in regions where many people don’t own credit cards. PasswordByPhone also has its own members areas for webmasters that wish to monetize their international traffic.

“In addition to our phone billing and geo-targeted billing solutions, we are working on a number of new products and services, one of them being SMS billing,” Mike B. said. “We have a lot of great things in store for all webmasters and affiliate programs.”
