“Swank Digital is yet another important studio to be offered by Deep Star Broadcasting so that we can continue to supply great new product with a diversified mix,” Deep Star CEO Richard Arnold said.
Though it is barely more than a year old, Swank Digital entered the DVD market with the advantage of a well-branded name, thanks to three decades publishing adult magazines with monthly distribution of 20 million.
Strong name recognition and a distribution deal with Pure Play Media helped the company get off to a fast start, winning Best New Production Company at the 2006 AVN Awards.
Swank Digital has offices on both coasts and in Europe. The company’s lines include Swank Extreme, Just 18 and Black Lust. The VOD deal exposes Swank’s video products to several million computer users.
“Swank Digital is excited to team up with Deep Star, allowing our product to reach millions of viewers who can now get access to our DVDs from the comfort of their own homes,” Swank Digital CEO James Baes said.
