ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. — Former adult star Harmony Rose, legal name Tracy Rolan, is currently in training as a volunteer EMT with the Cave Springs Rescue Squad.
Unfortunately, community members are feeling a tad bit iffy about having CPR administered to their lifeless bodies by the star of "Party Mouth."
Despite passing a criminal background check, Rose has remained under scrutiny by Roanoke County Fire Chief Rick Burc, who called on County Attorney Paul Mahoney to look into Rose's potential hiring.
In a letter obtained by WDBJ7, Mahoney explained that "it has been the practice of Roanoke County not to interfere in the internal membership decisions of volunteer rescue squads like Cave Spring. These decisions are left to the volunteers."
The letter goes on to explain, however, that volunteers must "exhibit the highest degree of trustworthiness and public esteem since they will be dealing with citizens when they are most vulnerable" and that "anything that results in public ridicule of volunteer squads, departments, or the County must be avoided."
Mahoney also expressed concern over Rose's exposure to squad trainees that can be as young as 16. ""Will parents be unwilling to allow their minor children to participate under these circumstances," he wrote.”Will this harm future volunteer recruitment?"
Rose, who quit the adult industry in 2010 after performing in more than 400 titles, is on a six-month trainee probation period. Once completed, squad members will vote to decide if she stays on board permanently.
