MONTREAL — Mile High Media has set a July 25 release date for "Seven Years of Marriage," an erotic re-imagining of Billy Wilder's 1955 marital comedy "The Seven Year Itch," starring Lily LaBeau in the iconic role made famous by Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe.
Written and directed by Nica Noelle, "Seven Years of Marriage" keeps its plot true to Wilder's original classic. Industry veteran Mark Wood plays a man with an overactive imagination who, while his wife of seven years is out of town, fantasizes about the attractive blonde sexpot living in his apartment.
The remake marks the sixth title produced through Mile High Media's new parody shingle Sweet Sinema. Along with LaBeau and Wood, the project costars Raylene, April O'Neil and Rocco Reed. A safe-for-work trailer for the film can be seen on the studio's YouTube channel.
“After the recent critical and commercial success of ‘Pretty Lady,’ we are experiencing an all-time high amount of interest in Sweet Sinema titles,” Mile High Media Vice President Jon Blitt said. “The trailer for ‘Seven Years of Marriage’ will showcase the same quality, passion, and eroticism as ‘Pretty Lady’. We expect equally good reviews and sales from this Marilyn inspired title. Who doesn’t have a fantasy with the iconic blonde bombshell?”
