HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Entertainment One has set a July 17 home-video release date for its new horror-comedy "Girls Gone Dead," featuring cameos from adult star Ryan Keely and industry icon Ron Jeremy.
Set in Daytona Beach, Fl. during spring break, "Girls Gone Dead" follows six college coeds as they attempt to escape from a hammer-wielding maniac determined to crash their party.
The film, described by producers as a spoof of '80s slashers, stars Keely as a bi-curious party reveler and Jeremy as host of Crazy Girls Unlimited, a cheeky take on Joe Francis' "Girls Gone Wild' franchise.
The odd-ball cast also includes scream-queen Linnea Quigley, Penthouse Pet Janessa Brazi, Iron Maiden guitarist Nicko McBrain, wrestler Jerry Lawler, "The Howard Stern Show's" Beetlejuice and adult industry personality Tony Batman.
