BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — LFP founder Larry Flynt goes on the road next week for an eight-city book-signing tour.
Flynt will appear at Hustler Hollywood stores to meet, greet and sign his book, "One Nation Under Sex: How the Private Lives of Presidents, First Ladies and Their Lovers Changed the Course of American History."
In the book, Flynt and David Eisenbach, a professor of American political history at Columbia University, argue that sex scandals have influenced American history since the beginning of the nation.
The co-authors in the well-sourced book say that Benjamin Franklin's womanizing ways helped win him favor with the French and gain the country's support during the Revolutionary War. They also claim that James Buchanan's same-sex relationship with a slave owner might have influenced his secessionist support on the brink of the Civil War and discuss Thomas Jefferson's relationship with a 14-year-old slave
Flynt will be appearing at the Hustler Hollywood stores in the following cities and dates:
- New Orleans: Thursday, June 21
- Fort Lauderdale, Fla.: Friday, June 22
