LOS ANGELES — Immoral Productions CEO and producer Dan Leal said Thursday that the citation against his company for filming without a permit has been dismissed.
Leal appeared in San Fernando Court this morning along with his attorney Michael Fattorosi for a citation from the Los Angeles Police Department for shooting without a permit at his Chatsworth studio on May 10.
"I'm really happy, Michael Fattorosi did a great job," Leal said.
On May 10 eight officers from the LAPD's Vice Division visited the Immoral Productions studio, where an independent contractor for Immoral was preparing to shoot an advertising spot with a handful of adult performers, along with a live cam show. Leal was not at the studio when the officers first arrived, but he later returned and spoke to the police.
Leal said that he didn't know at the time of the citation that he needed a film permit to shoot a live cam show. But he has since gotten all the required permits and production insurance and also has been shooting with condoms.
"We’re in complete compliance," Leal said. "Immoral Productions studio is the happiest place outside of Anaheim."
In order to obtain a film permit, the producer must agree to use condoms during the shoot.
