OrbitalPay Becomes Newest ASACP Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced that OrbitalPay has become its newest corporate sponsor.

According to the company, OrbitalPay offers a premier gateway billing solution as well as merchant accounts with competitive rates for all business types; including product sales, membership, VOD, and live cams. It also specializes in additional high-risk product sales.

“OrbitalPay shares with ASACP the ethical principles underlying the protection of children from age-restricted content, a paramount concern for all adult-related businesses,” OrbitalPay CEO Scott Bryson said. “The growth and maturation that we, as a community, have experienced in the last decade has in part been attributed to organizations like ASACP, whose mission and pervasive presence positions the adult industry in a positive direction.”

The company has a long history of processing prowess and generous community support.

“OrbitalPay is one of the most vigorous companies in the online adult billing space,” ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning said. “This puts OrbitalPay on the frontline in the ongoing war against depictions of child sexual abuse offered for commercial gain.”

ASACP provides online businesses with its Restricted To Adults (RTA) website meta label that helps prevent minors’ unauthorized access of adult-oriented websites and mobile apps, along with a series of Best Practices targeting specific online business types. It also operates an international CP Reporting Hotline, responsible for the closure of a number of illegal sites.

“Thanks to the continued generosity of companies such as OrbitalPay,” Henning explained, “the broader digital media industry is able to show its proactive responsibility in the face of the significant social challenges profoundly impacting companies in this market segment.”
