Shane’s World Terminates Distribution Deal With New Sensations

CHATSWORTH, Calif. —Shane's World has terminated its distribution deal with New Sensations after signing a separate deal in February to become a division of the company.

In related news, Shane’s World said that Megan Stokes, formerly the director of Internet marketing, will now assume sales and marketing duties for the studio. Stokes brings an intimate knowledge of the Shane’s World brand and product to her new position, having been with the company for more than two years.

“We had a long and fruitful relationship with New Sensations but feel the companies are going in different directions,” Shane’s World Owner Jennie Grant said. “We wrestled with this very important decision for a long time and felt it was the time to make the jump. We have always wanted to bring our sales in-house and are very excited to be doing so.”

Grant explained the reasoning behind the dissolution of the distribution agreement was an effort to further push and brand the recognizable Shane’s World name as the premier reality-based studio. She felt severing its ties to New Sensations and bringing those departments in-house could only achieve this goal.

“I can’t wait to meet everyone and institute the new marketing plans we have in the works,” Stokes told XBIZ. “‘College Invasion 9’ will be our first release with us distributing and it’s the best one yet. It’s got a college guy blow-bang and a real college girl having sex. We have a new contract girl, several amazing directors and lots of exciting new lines coming. Most importantly, I love our product and believe in it.”

After having New Sensations distribute more than 30 of its titles over past five years, Shane’s World owners Brian and Jennie Grant are excited about what the future holds for the company.

“We are thrilled about this new chapter of the company,” the Grant’s said jointly in a statement. “We feel Megan was the smartest choice we could make because she has a complete knowledge of the company, our product and our values. After 10 years in the business we feel this is the right time for these changes.”
