Steve Driver Porn Murder on 'Fatal Encounters' Tonight

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Investigation Discovery kicks off season two of its true-crime series "Fatal Encounters" tonight with an episode on Steve Driver, the adult performer who took his own life in the summer of 2010 after going on a machete rampage that left performer and friend Tom Dong dead.

Titled "Living on the Edge," the show features interviews with people who either knew or came into contact with Driver (legal name Stephen Clancy Hill) during his misguided, often disappointing, pursuit of porn stardom.

Among those participating in the show are Ultima DVD owner Eric Jover, who had allowed Driver to live at his production studio, the site of the grisly murder; Christopher Rachal, the studio's manager who was nearly hacked to death by Driver when he attempted to evict him; performer and one-time costar Charley Chase; LA Weekly writer Mike Albo ("Porn Machete Murder') and Driver's father David Hill. 

Driver eluded police for three days after the attack at Ultima DVD, but was finally tracked down to a hillside bluff near the Chatsworth Nature Preserve in the San Fernando Valley. He kept LAPD SWAT at bay for eight hours, while threatening to kill himself with a sword. When authorities got too close, Driver jumped to his death 50-feet below.

"Fatal Attractions" premieres tonight at 10 p.m.
