NEW YORK — The Fonz in talks to play an aging porn star on Broadway? Correct-a-mundo!
Henry Winkler, best known for his iconic turn as "Happy Days" bad boy Arthur Fonzarelli, is currently in negotiations to portray a Ron Jeremy inspired character in playwright David West Read's "The Performers."
The porn based comedy also stars Broadway actor and "30 Rock" recurring Cheyenne Jackson as a young aspiring porn performer partying as hard as he ... works.
According to NYPost.com, the play follows the relationship between Jackson's character and the childhood friend who envies his career in adult despite being a respected journalist for the New York Post. Evan Cabnet ("Dream of the Burning Boy") is attached to direct for producer Robyn Goodman ("American Idiot").
