HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. — Archstone Distribution has acquired the North American rights to director David Ren's '40s noir-inspired pulp actioner "The Girl From the Naked Eye."
The R-rated film, about a escort service driver who sets out to avenge the murder of his prostitute girlfriend, stars martial artist Jason Yee and Samantha Streets and features a supporting turn by former adult star Sasha Grey.
Grey is coming off Magnolia Pictures' trippy indie drama "I Melt with You" and will next be seen in Periscope Entertainment's horror film "Would You Rather", the Danny Trejo revenge thriller "Skinny Dip" and the sci-fi thriller "The Scribbler," with Katie Cassidy and Eliza Dushku.
The 24-year-old star of more than 200 adult titles was also tapped to play a part in Matthew Wilder's "Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story," but the project is currently in production limbo.
"The Girl From the Naked Eye" will have a limited theatrical run on June 15. To see the film's NSFW trailer, go here.
