2000Charge Adds Australian, New Zealand Alternative Payment Options

PASADENA, Calif. — 2000Charge has added a new option to its range of alternative payment solutions for Australia and New Zealand.

“Consumers can now use their bank funds to pay for online purchases rather than relying on a credit card,” the company said. “Chargeback risks are also eliminated, because unlike a credit card, the consumer makes the payment that cannot be reversed by the bank.”

With 2000Charge’s alternative payment solution, merchants will instantly receive a receipt of the transaction, so they can feel confident delivering goods and services immediately.

According to the company, 45 percent of Australian adults don’t own a credit card, so this payment option increases sales by giving merchants the capability to accept payments online from potential customers who don’t have a credit card.

The payment option is available with no required registration and customers can use it for free.

“2000Charge merchants will not only benefit from this payment method but also have the ability to target new markets through 2000Charge’s unique 1-Button feature, which currently provides access to 25 alternative payment solutions,” the company said. “Merchants do not have to register individually for each payment service option, as they are all conveniently provided through one solution.”

2000Charge provides this alternative payment method as part of its service offering to merchants worldwide, which automatically includes customer support, currency conversion and comprehensive reporting.
