HOLLYWOOD — Anchor Bay Films has released the first official trailer for New Normal Films' upcoming horror movie "Excision," starring "90210's" AnnaLynne McCord and notorious porn icon Traci Lords.
Written and directed by newcomer Richard Bates Jr, "Excision" finds McCord playing Pauline, an emotionally unstable teen who fantasizes about performing bloody surgeries on both her high school foes and family.
Lords is cast as Pauline's mother, Phyllis, a pious and overbearing woman who makes it apparent that she loves Pauline's young, but tragically ill, sister the most out of her two daughters.

Lords told DailyBeast.com at this year's Sundance Film Festival that she had second thoughts about playing the role of religious matriarch Phyllis.
"When you first come into the business, you have that ‘arrival moment’ of how the public perceives you," she said. "The first thing they’ll always think of when they think of me is ‘sex.’ It doesn’t matter that that was 25 years ago when I was a porn star. So I think "Excision" was a pivotal moment for me where I wanted to add another layer.
"It’s a huge load—no pun intended!—to carry,” she continued. “I’ve had to live up to the legend of what people think Traci Lords is. She’s bigger than even me. It’s a fantasy.”
Lords, now 44, entered the adult industry in 1984 at the age of 15 and performed in more than 80 hardcore titles. Those films remain banned in North America, where her only legal release is the 1997 release "Traci, I Love You," shot when she turned 18.
Lords has since gone on to star in numerous Hollywood productions, including the films "Cry-Baby," "Serial Mom," "Blade," "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell," "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" and the TV series "Melrose Place," "Roseanne" and "Profiler."
