LOS ANGELES — Production has begun on director John Suits' "The Scribbler," a sci-fi thriller starring Katie Cassidy, Eliza Dushku, Michael Imperioli and former adult star Sasha Grey.
According to Deadline, Cassidy toplines the film as a woman with multiple personalities who is fearful that she'll lose her true identity when she begins treatment with an experimental machine called The Siamese Burn. Daniel Schaffer adapted the script from his 2006 graphic novel of the same name.
No word on what role Grey is playing in the movie, but the part marks her second genre offering this year, following Periscope Entertainment's upcoming slasher "Would You Rather" with Brittany Snow and Jeffrey Combs.
"The Scribbler" also stars Gina Gershon, Michelle Trachtenberg, Ashlynn Yennie, Billy Campbell, Garret Dillahunt and Kunal Nayyar.
