CARTAGENA, Colombia — A porn shoot at a Cartagena paintball club is the latest eyebrow-raising sex story to hit this town following the recent revelation that U.S. Secret Service agents hired 21 prostitutes days before the start of the Summit of the Americas.
Fernando Calderon, the operator of Cartagena's 997 Paintball Club, said he was shocked to find out that a supposed mainstream video production he authorized last October ended up as a porn shoot.
Calderon told the local media that when he rented out the club to a dozen people, they claimed they were going to shoot a video for a college class.
But, later, Calderon found out the 42-minute video was dripping with boy-girl sex, as well as his wide-angle shots of his club's logo, walls and equipment.
With Calderon calling it a "breach of trust" and community activists asking for answers in this latest incident, the issue of sex is dominating headlines after the Secret Service scandal in this Caribbean beach resort city on the northern coast of Colombia.
Cartagena's El Universal newspaper reports that Miami-based BangBros handled the production at the 997 Paintball Club, as well as another one recently at a firehouse in the village of Puerto in northern Colombia.
