LOS ANGELES — The San Fernando Valley serves as the backdrop for "Twilight Saga" star Kristen Stewart's new porn-based actioner "Cali."
Written by "30 Seconds or Less" scribe Michael Diliberti, the film finds Stewart playing Mya, the victim in a fake porn snuff video she and her boyfriend, Chris, sell to sleazy porn producers.
Things take a nasty turn when the couple returns to Porn Valley years later to look for Mya's younger sister and must contend, according to Variety.com, with "angry former business partners, homicidal porn stars, stoner vet techs, an unstoppable killing machine in a cowboy hat and their own contentious relationship."
New School Media and Voltage Productions, along with Stewart, are producing the project, which is slated to begin production later this summer. A director has yet to be attached. No word either on whether adult stars will cameo in the picture.
