Stockroom Promotes Layla Ross to Distribution, Packaging Director

LOS ANGELES — BDSM and fetish gear supplier The Stockroom has promoted Layla Ross to the role of Distribution and Packaging Director.

“In Stockroom's 24-year history, among the many bright and colorful characters the company has attracted and employed, Layla has proven to be one of the most capable, dedicated and effective,” Stockroom founder and CEO Joel Tucker told XBIZ. “She has done an excellent job of leading and developing her department, embracing and implementing the company's values, serving as an ideal ambassador to the industry, and making Stockroom Wholesale the fastest-growing part of a many-faceted company.”

Ross started in a part-time sales role at Stockroom’s retail location in Los Angeles three-and-a-half years ago. Within four months, she moved into a position in Stockroom’s wholesale department, which is consistently growing, Ross said.

In her new role, Ross will oversee the handling of Stockroom Wholesale accounts on multiple levels, including manufacturing, distribution and retail. In addition, Ross will provide Stockroom’s retail clients with marketing and merchandising support with in-store training.

By staying on top of industry trends and the needs of Stockroom’s clientele, in her new role Ross will use her knowledge for product design and will oversee the direction of packaging — from its aesthetic to content and user instructions.

“I am very excited and honored to be promoted to the distribution and packaging director of Stockroom,” Ross said. “Stockroom’s continued support of the Wholesale Department has enabled it to grow and flourish. Their trust in me by growing my position and responsibilities alongside the department means the world.”

Ross is profiled as Women In Adult’s “Woman of the Month — Novelty” in the upcoming May issue of XBIZ Premiere.
