Similar to xPeeps, qPeeps was created for surfers, content providers, directors, actors and fans of gay adult content. The new sister site offers uncensored profiles for networking within the adult industry, in the same way that xPeeps does.
Both xPeeps and qPeeps are similar in that a user can create a profile, upload pictures, blog, start a group or sub-community or post a calendar, so long as it is legal and consensual, the company said.
The site, moderated by Bluekagoulm, has so far brought in 3,000 members since its beta launch a month ago.
"We really expect qPeeps to be as big a hit as xPeeps," Bluekagoul said.
AEBN’s Jerry Anders told XBIZ that xPeeps is close to reaching 100,000 profiles by the weekend and that the growth of the site has been faster than expected.
"Just like xPeeps, qPeeps is an excellent opportunity for everyone to network on a personal level whether you're in the business or not," Anders said. "The only difference with qPeeps is that it is exclusively for gay men to hang out and meet each other. It's the ultimate community for consensual adults to blog out with their schlong out ... and it's totally free."
Active adult personalities and businesses currently using xPeeps include Kylie Ireland, Stockroom.com, Darla Crane, Rob Rotten, Extreme Holly, Mallcom.com, Lisa Sparxxx, ClubJenna.com, Tera Patrick, Aimee Sweet, Janine, AdultFriendFinder.com, Seska Lee and Nikki Benz.
AEBN, also known as Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network, is one of the largest Internet video-on-demand sites.
