ROME — Former Italian Prime Minister and Gruppo Mediaset owner Silvio Berlusconi announced in March that he planned to produce a film based on his life. Adult film icon Rocco Siffredi has now volunteered to direct it.
In an interview with Italy's RAI Radio 2, Siffredi expressed his enthusiasm for the controversial politician and media mogul, known for his "Bunga Bunga" sex parties and affairs with underage girls, and publically pitched himself to helm an X-rated Berlusconi biopic.
Siffredi, star of more than 450 adult titles and director for studio Evil Angel, told the radio station that the film would star himself, Berlusconi and a cast of beautiful women.
"I think he is one of only a few people in Italy who could do my job,” Siffredi said. "He has already accomplished everything. This is the only thing that’s left for him. No co-stars. We wouldn’t need anyone else. This is serious stuff, which takes talent, true talent.”
Berlusconi, who resigned as prime minister in November 2011, appeared in court in Milan last week as part of a trial that alleges that he paid a 17-year-old dancer named Ruby the Heart Stealer for sex while serving as prime minister and used his office to have shoplifting charges against her dropped.
