LOS ANGELES — OGEE Studios, the start-up production house founded by Assence Films proprietor Mike Kulich, is set to make its parody debut with "Vote for Rush," a spoof of right-wing radio personality Rush Limbaugh.
Loosely inspired by Limbaugh's most recent public scandal, "Vote Rush" finds the polarizing political pundit's moral and ethical standing lying down as he's seduced by the behavior of sexy and liberal university coeds.
Veteran performer Dick Nasty toplines the parody as Limbaugh, while Autumn Sky plays Sandrah, a pornified take on Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown University law student referred to as a slut and prostitute by Limbaugh after she spoke in support of mandating insurance coverage for contraceptives at the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee in February.
Rounding out the cast are Lacey DuValle, Sasha Knox, Maggie Star and Kelly Taylor, who portrays a "chalky pixie" named Oxy, a personification of Limbaugh's drug-of-choice, Oxycodone.
"I am extremely proud of this movie" Kulich said. "OGEE is a young company but in our short time we have proven ourselves time and time again. With the release of 'Vote for Rush,' I am confident that the response to this film will solidify us as an industry leader."
"Vote for Rush" will ship to distributors and retail outlets on May 16 through Exile Distribution.
