SLS Specialty Brings Barcode Berlin Collection to Adult Market

HOUSTON —  SLS Specialty has been named exclusive distributor of the Barcode-Berlin collection of athletic-inspired intimate apparel.

The company has brought the brand to the adult retail market.

“Barcode’s athletic look is a huge trend in the male apparel market and we can barely keep the brand — especially the wrestling singlets — in stock,” SLS Specialty CEO Shane Nelson said.

“These designs are all over fashion magazines, photo shoots and style blogs and Barcode’s quality stands up to the hype. The stitching, seaming, fabrics and contouring make it a true high-end brand without the super high-end price.”

The brand is known for using high quality commercial elastic and cotton construction featuring a silicone band surrounding the pouch to maintain the fabric’s flattering stretch. This ensures the longevity of each piece, the company said.

The Barcode line is comprised of singlets, jock straps and running shorts made of nylon, spandex and cotton blends that stand the test of wear, tear and multiple washings, the company said.

Each item is packaged in a clamshell or hanging poly bag, and merchandising tools including calendars, posters, postcards and banners are available.

Nelson said the Barcode team is active and available for custom branding and constructing in-store installations according to each outlet’s unique needs.
